Cancer Awareness Initiative

Sharing vital information on prostate cancer therapies

Our purpose is to create awareness of prostate cancer by providing basic information on dealing with and treating cancer.

Cancer Awareness

As we age, we find that more people around us will suffer from cancer and its consequences. It is important to be informed about cancer therapies and their side effects.

Our educational presentations will provide you with an honest view of one man’s exploration of cancer treatment options and his treatment experiences.  You will come away with a greater understanding of the options, as well as a sense of empowerment to choose the best treatment for you and/or those close to you.

How We're Helping

Through speaking programs, we aim to create awareness of cancer and the various therapies available. The information provided is vital for the 50% of men and 30% of women who will get cancer in their lifetime as they will have to make a choice among many different treatment options and live with the side effects that each treatment causes. Choosing the right option will greatly affect the quality of the rest of their life.  We help patients understand their options so that they can choose the best treatment possible for them.  The information provided is from a patient’s point of view, with the purpose of helping others live a life full of happiness and well-being.

You will learn

  • Benefits of early cancer detection.
  • Treatment options available, including the most advanced that is fast, non-invasive and offers minimal or no pain.
  • How to spare healthy tissues and organs, thereby potentially reducing long-term issues and side effects.
  • How to lower your risk of secondary cancer due to radiation.
  • How to continue to lead a normal life, full of vigor and enjoyment after treatment.

Thank You
